My Bio
Artistic and creative mind.

I've been drawing since 2007 when an ex-friend of mine pushed me to try. I was amazed by the results I saw. In 2009 I took a leave from dA and am just returning in 2011. I picked up a pencil maybe twice on my time off? I am hoping to get back into it really soon, as I've just spent countless dollars on new art supplies and filled my favorites gallery for inspiration and motivation.

Is it dead?

Does anyone even really use deviant art anymore? I remember it used to be a poppin' community... Just wondering if I should bother posting new stuff up!

Question...

I just wanted to know if there is a way to quickly delete a mass amount of deviations in your gallery? I have a crap ton that I would love to get rid of but I think its annoying constantly having to click gallery > browse > deviation in question > delete > repeat all steps just to get all the ones I want deleted. Anyone can help me out with this? Thanks! -M

In my experience as a 7 year deviantart member, I have come to learn quite a bit about faces with regards to traditional drawings. I realize that statement might not quite make sense, but it will soon. I absolutely love traditional pencil drawings. My favorites gallery is full of them. I love the eyes, the hair, the details, the realism, the shading.. everything about them fascinates me. I have come to realize (at least to my personal taste) that some faces look better drawn than others. Obviously I watch movies here and there, and there are some actresses that I absolutely cannot stand. But when drawn, these ladies become the most beautifu

Thank you for the :+fav:s. ^^
For someone who has only started drawing recently, your talent with pencil is quite remarkable!

It seems we found our beginnings very similarly. :)
thx for faving!! xx
Youre welcome!
thanks for the fave! haha where you been? how are you?
Not a problem!!! I have been.. living life. Its so hard to do anything anymore now that I've been not doing art anymore :(. Coming here makes me want to start up again but I am so busy what with being in school still.. tho I still find time to play video games (figure that out LOL).

I'm not bad!! Busy as ever. How are you? been awhile for sure!! Hopefully sometime I can come back on and make more drawings :)
I'm ok i guess. I've been sidelined from painting due to a leg injury, so I'm trying to get better. I don't know. I feel like I hate my portfolio and I'm having a hard time being content with the things I produce. I'll be happy when I'm in the moment of painting or creating something, but after a couple of weeks, I don't think it's good enough. That's how I feel about my work. I feel like it's not good enough. So that's the issue I'm trying to deal with right now. I mean, I understand that's what helps us progress and makes us better artists, but I'd still like to be content with what I'm producing. My mind is all over the place.
Aww :( Thats no fun. Well hopefully you can be content with something or find some way to have it challenge you to do better things. I guess thats how I feel about old works however I don't really do art anymore.. haha so I can't help myself in any way with regards to that. At least when you're lost in the moment of creating it lets you escape for awhile.

Hope your leg injury is healing quickly!
