No one knows
But hatred grows
Like the poppys,
Row on row
These feelings instilled
Have wiltered and died
For the truth,
You tried to hide
So why,
Must I ask
Do I stand by your side
It's as though
And we both know
That we're strangers
But in the glow
The truth lays bright
Concealing itself
With all its might
Because you're afraid to see
That we're all in the same
Except for you
Who can't play the game
But hatred grows
Like the poppys,
Row on row
These feelings instilled
Have wiltered and died
For the truth,
You tried to hide
So why,
Must I ask
Do I stand by your side
It's as though
And we both know
That we're strangers
But in the glow
The truth lays bright
Concealing itself
With all its might
Because you're afraid to see
That we're all in the same
Except for you
Who can't play the game

I like it. Rhyming for me is an unnecessary thing for poetry but you did a nice job with it. Try writing poems without rhymes and just speak your mind. I find that it works better for me. And also our poems seem to have a similar idea behind it which is pretty cool.
